Female Athletes for October 2016
Jessica & Emma
Jessica, 11, has been a client of MU Human Performance Institute for a few months and trains two times a week. She participates in basketball. Jessica was very fun to train because she was always in a silly and energetic mood, which makes every day exciting. Her joyful attitude made it easy for everyone in the class to relax and perform their exercises in a non-restricted way, which is very important when it comes to training and transferring it to the field or court. When asked about MU HPI, she said, “My favorite thing is the fun games that don’t seem like a workout…and trying to beat Garrett.”
Emma, 11, has been a client of MU Human Performance Institute for a few months and trains two times a week. She participates in basketball and volleyball. Emma brought great energy and enthusiasm every day to the facility. She also did a great job of paying attention to the little things she could work on to improve whatever quality it was we were training for that moment. When asked about MU HPI, she said, “I liked the games because they were fun and helpful.”
Male Athlete for October 2016
Travis, 15, has been a client of MU Human Performance Institute for a few months. He is a baseball player at Rock Bridge High School and trains two times a week at HPI.
Travis is one of our most motivated and competitive athletes. Every opportunity he has to get better or improve he takes full advantage of it. One of the best qualities Travis possesses is his role as a teammate and leader to all of our clients.
Even if he didn’t know them before he started training, he takes on the MU HPI family theme and helps or encourages each and every client. When asked about MU HPI, he said, “It is a focused and encouraging environment.”
