Female Athletes for March 2016
Madison and Paige
The 10-year-old Uptegrove sisters have been clients of MU Human Performance Institute for a year and a half and both train two days a week. Madison competes and loves to play softball. Paige does not compete in any sports right now but loves to train and compete with her sister at our facility.
They both work extremely hard and have improved so much in the time we have had them training with us. They love to push each other to see “who did better” or “who won.” They realize to get the best out of themselves that they need to continue to challenge themselves. When asked what they enjoyed most about MU HPI, Madison said, “I love jumping, especially on the boxes.” Paige said, “I like doing the work.”
Male Athlete for March 2016
Andrew, 12, has been a client of MU Human Performance Institute for two and a half years and trains one to two times a week depending on his sports schedule. Right now, he participates in competitive baseball. Andrew is fun and charismatic and loves to dance and smile while working out — no matter what we throw at him. Other clients seem to feed off his positive energy, and that raises the level of the whole class.
We are excited to watch him continue to grow as an athlete and person and see his enthusiasm continue to rub off on other people. When asked about what he enjoys about MU HPI, he said, “I love lifting weights and pushing myself. The trainers make me go 100 percent “beast mode” all the time. #Warriors.”
